Design concept

This project started with a challenge: low ceilings (2.4 m), visible HVAC drops, and dark flooring — elements typically seen as flaws. Instead of hiding them, we turned them into defining features of the space. These flaws naturally led us to mid-century modern — a style where lower proportions, horizontal lines, and deeper tones feel intentional. Inspired by the world of Mad Men, the interior reflects the refined, slightly dramatic atmosphere of 1960s New York.
